PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Welcome Miami-Dade and Broward County High School Seniors!

It is a great honor to serve as President of Salute to Education (STE), and work alongside the many sponsors and volunteers who make this scholarship endeavor a success!

In 1994, The Miami-Dade and Broward County Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers established Salute to Education with a shared goal to improve the quality of education in South Florida . We are proud to have granted over $3.1 million in scholarships to more than 3,200 students in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties over the last 15 YEARS!!!

The rewards of this program have begun to bear fruit, as tomorrow's leaders are already making a difference today! Our goal is to encourage college-bound students to reach their career objectives by rewarding those who strive to achieve excellence in the classroom, as well as in their community.

On behalf of the 19 Miami-Dade and Broward County Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers and Ford Motor Company, I congratulate the 160 winners of the 2008-2009 Salute to Education Scholarship! We are very proud of your accomplishments!!!!
